Young Adult Ministry

As young adults at First, we are committed to connecting with one another, growing in our relationship with Jesus, and being sent into the world to further the mission of Christ. We have three main environments that are specific to young adults: Congregational Communities, home groups, and social events. We hope that all of these environments will equip you to connect, grow, and serve Christ.

Discipleship

At First, we have adopted a mission statement that says we want to take people, “Deeper in Christ and Further into the World.”

Prayer Ministry

Each Wednesday evening a small but dedicated group of members gather in the Dunham Chapel to pray for the ministry of First Presbyterian Church.

Youth Ministry

  The youth ministry focuses on teenagers in 6th Grade to 12th Grade.  The youth department has Sunday morning study, MS & HS youth groups, weekly bible studies, mission trips, retreats, summer trips and other fun special events all centered on making mature disciples!  Click on link to see all we do!

 

 

Women in Ministry

Transformation is not an option for those who are in the family of faith in Christ; it is a way of life. Transformation takes place over time as we attune ourselves to the way of God's Spirit. The 2009-2010 year is filled with events and studies designed to do just that.

So many details go into a wedding. We’ve been thinking about them for years! There are a lot of regulations and procedures. I hope you’ll find that our wealth of experience of what makes for a joyous Christian wedding underlies all of them.

Children's Ministry

At First Presbyterian, we know that raising children of faith in today’s world is a daunting task. Let us partner with you in the teaching and training of your children. 

 

 

Worship Arts Ministry

Worship Arts Ministries involves everything from Joyful Noise, our children's choir, to the contemporary service Worship Team and the classic reformed service's Chancel Choir.  We also enjoy praising God through drama.  Check us out.
