Women in Ministry's Upcoming Events and Studies
In addition to our monthly and weekly Bible Study groups, the Women in Ministry Team enjoys planning special events in order to further our mission of listening to God, growing in faith, connecting with one another, and serving each other and the world. If you would like to share any program ideas with the Women in Ministry Team or have thoughts on how we could better encourage and equip you, please let us know. We enjoy hearing from you.

Weekly Spring 2012 Bible Studies
Monday Evenings: Prepared for Glory, God Re-Commissions His Covenant People in Deuteronomy 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm in Paige Davis’ home
Mostly composed of women in their 20’s and 30’s, this small group is a wonderful (and fun!) place to experience Christian fellowship and spend time with other young women who also want to know Jesus and apply his Word to their lives. Mary Willson will teach through the book of Deuteronomy this spring. Please contact Mary if you have questions (mary@fpcbr.org). Our first gathering will be January 23.
Wednesday Morning Discussion 6.30 am to 7.30 am at Garden District Coffee Shop
The women who meet on Wednesday mornings are eager to know God’s Word and challenge one another to think deeply about the Scriptures. This study welcomes women of all ages. This spring we will study Tim Keller's The King's Cross which is a study of the Gospel of Mark. We rotate discussion leadership week to week. Thursday Mornings: Prepared for Glory, God Re-Commissions His Covenant People in Deuteronomy 9.15 am to 10.45 am at First Presbyterian (EB 202)
Our group on Thursday mornings involves women of all ages and life-stages, and we enjoy the privilege of multigenerational fellowship. Our hope is that we would come to know God more deeply through our time together. We would love for you to join us, and please feel free to invite your friends. Childcare is available upon request. Thursday Morning Young Mom’s Group: TBD 9.30 am to 11.00am at First Presbyterian
This spring Jaime Carnaggio and Arden Flynt will co-lead our Bible Study This group of young moms meets for support, fellowship, prayer, and Bible Study. Most of these women are in their 20’s and 30’s with small children. Childcare is available upon request. We meet in the 4th grade Sunday School room, and our first gathering will be January 26.
