Dee’s degrees are from Ohio State, Michigan State and she received her doctorate from Florida State University in 1982. She has been on the faculty of both LSU and Louisiana Tech teaching marriage & child development classes. Dee is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, an LPC board-approved supervisor, and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor.
She admits to being a Yankee, was raised with 3 brothers so she is comfortable counseling men (as well as women), and has lived in the south since the late 70s. Dee and Pete have been married since 1980 and she has been blessed with two adult step-children, 9 step-grandchildren and 2 champion Russian Blue cats. Dee became a Christian in Pittsburgh in 1967 through Young Life.
