Raising kids takes wisdom, strength, hope and encouragement. Those qualities come from God, and he provides them through his Word and the encouragement of the saints.
We’ll gather in the Reception Room at 5 pm for dinner with other Community Groups on Sundays from September 7 through November 23. After dinner, we break off into our parenting group when we’ll study parenting from God’s Word by a host of godly mentors who are a bit further along in the journey. We will watch a video from Family Life, the family ministry of Cru, called The Art of Parenting. We will then break into smaller groups for discussion.
This content is generally geared toward parents with young children. Come join fellow peers in the same stages of parenting to receive wisdom and encouragement from the videos as well as other godly parents from First Presbyterian that are further along in the journey.
There is a $20 fee per couple or household to participate in “The Art of Parenting” Community Group. Childcare is offered for children in 5th grade and younger not already participating in Children’s Choir.
