As you begin this new year, have you considered taking part in our outstanding Sunday school opportunities?
To see your spiritual life flourish in 2026, the Perspectives class (Kevin McCarter – teacher) offered at 9 am is kicking off the new year with a series detailing how a particular mountain in Israel was “strong enough for kings, high enough for temples, central enough for nations, and holy enough for the cross.” Each week’s lesson explicitly frames Christ as the end reality and goal of the entire geographical area.
The Kingdom Builders class (Ryan Dickerson – teacher) is doing a series on the “I AM” statements of Jesus. With each statement, Jesus further reveals that he alone is the world’s long-awaited Messiah. No one could make those statements unless they were a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord God Almighty come via flesh into space and time.
The Crossroads class (Dan Zito and Vince Gilcrease – teachers) is doing a series on practical heavenly mindedness by studying 1 & 2 Peter along with the book of Jude. This series will address questions such as “If I’m living right, why do I hurt so much?” and “I’m called to be different, so how do I do that in a world that daily pushes us to conform?”
The Well (Scott Graham – teacher) continues to explore the essentials of our faith with its series on adult Confirmation. By gazing at the core tenants of our faith, it’s like staring at a diamond or precious jewel – no matter how you turn it, new beauties are in store from every angle.
The Journeys class (Shawn Wilson and Charlie Daigle – teachers) is doing a series based on the bestselling book, Practicing The Way by John Mark Comer. Shawn and Charlie are excited to share with the class Comer’s accessible and inspiring teachings on establishing long-lasting fruit in our daily lives.
Each of these classes offers the opportunity to be challenged, learn beautiful truths and become part of a welcoming community. We would love to see you in Sunday school in 2026!
