First Presbyterian partners with our sister church Abounding Love Ministries to provide the S.T.A.R.S. Camp which offers mornings of reading and math classes to academically prepare campers for the subsequent school year. Afternoons offer enrichment activities such as dance, music, arts and crafts, woodworking, drama, public speaking, African American history, computer literacy and foreign language. Recreational activities are also offered with a weeklong Sports Camp.
Volunteers are welcome and needed to assist at these summer programs, particularly during the Sports Camp.
