Daniel was born in Monterey, California to a military family and spent most of his childhood in Rhode Island. While growing up, he did not expect ministry to be a part of his future. However, toward the end of high school, Daniel felt a call to go into youth ministry, and God began opening doors to that end. In 2019 Daniel started his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies at Belhaven University. While at Belhaven, he met his wife, Maegan, and began volunteering and interning at several churches in Mississippi. After graduating in May of 2023, Daniel and Maegan were married in June and moved to Baton Rouge a week later. A year after moving to Baton Rouge, they welcomed their son Thomas into their family.
Daniel is thrilled to continue pursuing his calling to youth ministry by serving as the Director of Middle School Youth at First Presbyterian. Along with working with the youth, Daniel is a quarter of the way through his MDiv degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson. He enjoys hiking, playing golf, reading books on history and theology, and spending as much time as possible with Maegan and Thomas.
