Ron C. Hicks serves as the evangelist of The Sanctuary of Baton Rouge, a new church plant in Baton Rouge dedicated to restoring lives through the power of God’s Word. He has over 33 years of experience ministering to incarcerated men at Louisiana State Prison (Angola and Elayn Hunt Correctional Center). He is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree. Ron is also skilled as a sign language interpreter and braille transcriber, using these gifts to reach diverse communities with the Gospel. He is known for his compassionate leadership and practical teaching; He remains committed to guiding others toward spiritual growth and renewed hope in Christ. He is married to his beautiful wife Jehane and together they have eight children. Ron is always excited to share his faith in Christ and the hope found in Christ centered community.
The Sanctuary meets at 10.45 am each Sunday beginning September 7.
