For years, our Church Archivists have quietly cared for the stories of First Presbyterian Church. Bob Olsson has faithfully tended and cataloged our archives, preserving photographs, documents, programs, artifacts, and other treasures earlier generations entrusted to us. Zora Olsson has helped bring that history to life through her research, presentations, and the stories she has shared in our newsletter. Their work, and the work of others who have cared for our history through the years, has preserved an extraordinary record of our church’s life.
Now, as we approach our 200th anniversary, we have an opportunity to discover more of what they have preserved. In the months ahead, we hope you’ll join us in exploring our story, sharing your own memories, and considering what we want to pass on to the generations who follow us.
