Preparation
Premarital counseling is an essential part of your wedding! The officiating pastor will lead you through a counseling program of his design; usually 2 to 4 sessions. We offer the Prepare/Enrich marriage inventory as a reliable and energizing way to consider the unique dynamics of your relationship. If you desire additional or more in-depth sessions, our Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center has wonderful counselors. And they offer a Created for Connection marriage seminar 3-4 times per year.
Wedding License
Your marriage license can be obtained from the Parish Courthouse and must be delivered to the officiating pastor no later than the evening of your rehearsal. We strongly encourage Covenant marriage and our Wedding Coordinator can give you more information in order for you to make that decision.
Scheduling
We schedule weddings throughout the year, however there are some exceptions on holiday weekends which allow our staff to spend time with their families.
We do not schedule weddings on the following weekends:
Thanksgiving
Easter
Christmas
New Year’s
Memorial Day
Labor Day weekend
