Nurturing Women as They Grow Deeper in Christ
The mission of First Presbyterian Church Women’s Ministry is to nurture women as they grow deeper in Christ and further into the world through studying God’s Word, partnering in prayer, cultivating meaningful relationships and gathering in intentional life-on-life fellowship. Our prayer is that every woman feels poured into, supported and has a place and a purpose in our church body as we encourage each other as ambassadors of the gospel.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible studies meet weekly in the fall and spring semesters and for a special summer study during the month of July.
Fall 2026 Women’s Bible Study: Romans
Often called Paul’s greatest letter, the book of Romans has shaped the faith of believers for nearly 2,000 years. R.C. Sproul described it as Paul’s “fullest, grandest, most comprehensive statement of the gospel.” It gives us an honest look at the reality of our sin while lifting our eyes to the breathtaking grace of God in Jesus Christ. It reminds us that our hope is found in the perfect righteousness of Christ, freely given to all who trust him.
Join Women’s Ministry this fall as we journey through this incredible letter together. As we study Romans, we’ll discover not only the beauty and depth of the gospel, but also the freedom, joy, assurance, and hope that belong to everyone who is in Christ. May God use this study to deepen our faith, transform our hearts, and draw us to love him more.
Bible study begins the week of August 17.

2026-2027 Circle Study: Hebrews, An Anchor for the Soul
We are, by nature, drifters. Our hearts are easily drawn to the things of this world, and we begin to believe that something else will satisfy us more than Christ.
The book of Hebrews speaks directly to that temptation with one resounding message:
Jesus is better.
The original readers were tempted to return to the familiar rituals and sacrifices of the Old Testament, but Hebrews reminds them–and us–that Jesus is enough. He is the fulfillment of all God’s promises, our perfect Savior, and the only true “anchor for our souls.”
Join one of our Women’s Ministry Circles this year as we study Hebrews: An Anchor for the Soul, by Michael Kruger. Together, we’ll discover why Christ is infinitely better than anything this world offers–and why, when our hearts are prone to drift, he alone is the anchor that holds us fast.
