What does good food, the smell of gun powder, and good-natured competition have in common? If you said the annual First Presbyterian Men’s Ministry Skeet Shoot, you would be exactly right! This year’s skeet shoot will be back in the rolling hills of Saint Francisville on Dr. Chat Kleinpeter’s property on Saturday, March 15. Each participant will shoot 100 shots from multiple stations to determine the individual and team winners. The good news is that no matter your skill level, this event is only partially about skeet. In addition to shooting, this is a great place to make some new friendships or deepen ones you already enjoy.
Depending on the number of registrants, teams will be around 8–10 men, giving plenty of opportunity for conversation as you cheer on others from your team. Like previous years, prizes will be awarded for best score by age group. Registration is required and will cover the cost of clays, ammo, and food.
Please bring eye and ear protection, a shotgun, and hearts ready to enjoy the outdoors with good friends from church! (If you have any questions, please reach out to Darin (darin@fpcbr.org).
