Selecting a pre-kindergarten program is an important decision in the lives of our parents and their children. Early childhood education is vital to your child’s development. Our pre-kindergarten program strives to prepare all children for kindergarten and their elementary years. We offer a loving, Christian environment and developmentally appropriate academic instruction that are important priorities to your child’s development.
Program Features
- Christian education
- Degreed and certified teacher (classroom experience at pre-kindergarten and second grade levels)
- Low child-to-teacher ratio, with lead teacher and full-time assistant, to allow for individual attention and small group instruction
- Regular communication between teachers and parents keeping parents informed of their child’s day and progress
- Work samples, observations, and assessments demonstrating child’s progress
- Parent Teacher Conferences
- Four-day week program which offers time for children to grow, develop, and mature an additional year prior to full-time school
Curriculum
Our pre-kindergarten curriculum is constructed into thematic units with activities that spark children’s interest that are hands-on, encouraging your child’s intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social and physical growth. Weekly lessons focus on development of cognition, reading, math, receptive and expressive language, concept knowledge, and fine and gross motor skills. Since children naturally learn through play, our curriculum allows an enriched play experience that fosters a love of learning. We also seek to create a love for Jesus and a love for others through our lessons and daily interactions.
